Here are the release dates for the 9-1-1 franchise shows on ABC and Fox

Both the original series and 9-1-1: Lone Star are returning soon.

In the 9-1-1 procedural drama franchise created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, viewers bear witness to the personal and professional lives of first responders as they juggle helping the vulnerable and dealing with their own personal issues. Both shows in the franchise, 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star, will be releasing new episodes soon. Read on to learn when and where you’ll be able to catch up with the firefighters, police officers, paramedics and dispatchers next.

The original 9-1-1 debuted on Fox in 2018. Sadly for fans, the network canceled the series after its sixth season. But thankfully, that wasn’t the end of the show. ABC subsequently picked  9-1-1 up for season 7 and subsequently renewed it for season 8.

Meanwhile, spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star made its debut on Fox in January 2020. But all good things must end (unless they’re picked up by ABC). Fox has announced that its upcoming fifth season will be the last for the spinoff.

As previously reported, the eighteen-episode 9-1-1 season 8 will debut on ABC on September 26, 2024 at 8/7 central, and be available for streaming on Hulu the next day. Meanwhile, the twelve-episode 9-1-1: Lone Star season 5 is scheduled to debut on Fox on September 23, 2024, and will be available for streaming on Hulu the next day.
