We can't wait to see our favorite humanoid wolf in action again.

Did you ever watch Zootopia and wish it were like an anime? You no longer need to wish because that is pretty much the premise of Beastars, the hit anime on Netflix that is coming back for its third season in late 2024. It has been several years since the previous season dropped, but we finally know when the third (and final!) season of Beastars will be coming to Netflix.

Set in a world filled with anthropomorphic animals, Beastars takes the central premise of Zootopia – the tensions that arise when both predator and prey try to coexist peacefully – and makes it oddly sexy. The second season aired back in July 2021, so it has been more than three years of waiting for more. Fortunately, that wait is almost over as Netflix has announced that Beastars season three will debut in December 2024 and will adapt the newest arc in Paru Itagaki’s popular manga.

The exact release date hasn’t been confirmed, but we do have a few more details about this season. We know that it will be the last season of the Beastars anime and that it will be broken up into two parts. The first part airs in December 2024, but a release date for season three part two hasn’t been announced yet.

The first batch of episodes in Beastars season three lands on Netflix in December 2024, kicking off what will be the final season of the Beastars anime. No release date has been announced for season three part two.
