What do you get it you put 1970s anime icons Gatchaman, Neo-Human Casshan, Hurricane Polimar, and Tekkaman: The Space Knight together in the same story? Besides the obvious response — “a good time,” if you’re wondering — the answer is the ten-volume manga Infini-T Force, finally getting an English language release this summer from Mad Cave Studios.
Bringing together some of the most popular characters from anime producer Tatsunoko Productions — the manga started as a celebration of the studios’ 55th anniversary — the series from Ukyou Kodachi (Boruto: Naruto Next Generations) and Tatsuma Ejiri (P2—let’s Play Pingpong!—) is finally set to be released in full in English from Mad Cave’s Nakama Press imprint, offering the chance for one of a superhero epic for the ages to be enjoyed, in full in the US.
“I'm excited to bring these new Infini-T Force editions to the public, especially as we get closer to volumes 5-7, which have never been translated into English,” said Mad Cave Studios Editor, Kristen Simon, in a statement about the series. “A lot of fans have been waiting for years to read these final volumes translated, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be able to make it happen through Nakama Press at Mad Cave Studios.”
The first two volumes will be released simultaneously on June 3, with the third following August 5, and subsequent volumes on a regular basis in the coming months. Here are Mad Cave’s descriptions of the first three volumes, accompanied by their covers:
