In the aptly named Army of One by Tony Lee and Yishan Li, the aforementioned 'fiery teenager' Carrie Taylor (see above!) learns she is one of a thousand variants - known as shards - that was originally one entity known as Sister Fortune that was broken by her nemesis Brother Havoc. With that old evil rising anew - and hunting down Carrie and all her shards - she begins recruiting shards of herself from across the multiverse to stand up to it all.

“Films like Everything, Everywhere All At Once, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse have brought mainstream awareness to the idea of the multiverse,” says Oni Press editor-in-chief Sierra Hahn. " Oni Press Editor-in-Chief Sierra Hahn. “Army of One tells a multiverse story in a way that only comics can — unencumbered by special effects and CGI — spanning multiple dimensions and realities to create a unique but universal coming of age story.”
