Let's see what Kodashi Ukyo is cooking up this time.

We all love a good food manga, with the high stakes cook-offs and delicious-looking meals. Another one is now on the horizon, this time from the first writer of the hugely successful Boruto manga, Kodachi Ukyo. Ato 365-nichi no Diner is a brand-new manga from Kodachi and illustrator Sonshoo Hangetsuban that is set to premiere next month.
Set to be serialized starting on March 19, 2024 in monthly Seinen magazine Champion Red, Ato 365-nichi no Diner is about two girls with a passion for Chinese food. One works as a cook in a downtown Chinese restaurant and the other works as a popular food consultant. According to the initial preview, translated by Manga Moguru RE, the pair will work together to “shake up the 4000-year-long history of Chinese cuisine!”
Those absurd stakes are exactly what we love about cooking manga and anime like Food Wars. It is such an over-the-top statement, yet we don’t doubt that is exactly how things are going to shake out in this manga. We also know from his work on the Boruto manga that Kodachi can deliver a healthy mix of comedy and drama, so this might be a good one to watch out for when the first chapter of Ato 365-nichi no Diner is released on March 19 in Champion Red magazine.
Kodachi Ukyo was the initial writer on the Boruto manga, penning the first 13 volumes of the Naruto sequel before original mangaka Masashi Kishimoto took over writing duties starting with volume 14 in 2020.
