DC and Marvel announce new comic book crossovers for 2025

No, we don't have a lot of details, but expect DC/Marvel and Marvel/DC on shelves at some point this year!

As many had hoped, the 2024 release of the DC versus Marvel Omnibus and the subsequent DC versus Marvel: The Amalgam Age Omnibus didn’t mark the end of an era of cross-publisher co-operation after all. Announced at ComicsPro Comic Industry Meeting 2025, 2025 will see two all-new DC/Marvel crossover projects, one from each company.

The announcement was made on February 21, with both DC editor-in-chief Marie Javins and Marvel editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski onstage, ostensibly to thank comic book retailers for the strong sales of the 2024 omnibus editions. Instead, they announced DC/Marvel and Marvel/DC — both, presumably, working titles — to be released at some point in 2025. No further details were revealed, but it’s safe to say that we know what fans of both companies — and superhero comics in general — are going to be anxiously awaiting details on as we head into convention season.

Keep your eyes on Popverse for the updates on these new projects as they’re announced.
