Fairy Tail manga-ka Hiro Mashima talks the manga, the anime, the spin-off anime, and more at New York Comic Con 2024.

One of the biggest comic creators in modern memory - manga-ka Hiro Mashima - made a rare trip to the US in 2024, and we here at ReedPop rolled out the red carpet to host an hour-long spotlight panel for him on the New York Comic Con Main Stage. And if you missed it.... we got you.

Watch now as the Fairy Tail creator talks about his hit manga series and the ginormous anime adaptation it spawned, and the current spinoff Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest. Mashima-sensei also talks about the recent finale of his Edens Zero manga, and what's coming next for him.

We filmed over 50 panels at New York Comic Con 2024, and, while this one is free, you can watch all our NYCC 2024 panels - as well panels from past NYCCs and more - by becoming a Popverse member.

But hey, you're here for the Fairy Tail creator! Let's get you to it:
