Marvel heroes are at their best when they're friendly (just ask the Thing, the Beast, and Wolverine)

For all that Marvel Studios has successfully replicated so much of the DNA of Marvel’s comic book universe — in, admittedly, an abbreviated and much more digestible form that doesn’t require anyone to understand literal decades of backstory and canon — there’s one important strand that I’m still somewhat impatiently waiting for. One that, if I’m being entirely honest, is so core to what makes Marvel Marvel that I’m almost prepared to throw a parade in celebration when it does, inevitably, show up on screen: superhero friendships.

In this week’s Marvel-ous, where we go big on the small things in Marvel that make us smile, it’s time to come out and say it: Friendship is magic.
