Madman creator Mike Allred joins DC's seminal New History of DC Universe timeline project
After Superman's space age and Batman's dark age, Mike Allred is helping draw all the ages in the New History of the DC Universe.

To tell a story as big as the entire timeline of DC Comics, you need the right kind of artist. Joining the previously announced Jerry Ordway and Todd Nauck will be the pop art superhero stylings of none other than Madman creator Mike Allred.
Popverse's Jules Chin Greene was on hand at DC Comics' official Superman panel at WonderCon 2025, giving play-by-play for our members as the event went on. But if you missed it, Mark Waid announced that Allred would be joining him in the upcoming New History of the DC Universe project launching this June.
Waid says the guiding principle of the whole story is answering the question 'What are the most important moments in the DC Universe?', and with that kind of open-ended question I can imagine few better than Allred to help answer it. For Allred, this is a nice break from his two recent throwback DC superhero series Superman: Space Age and Batman: Dark Age
