With a new season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba on the horizon, Crunchyroll and Aniplex are making sure fans are practically foaming at the mouth in excitement. To help build up the hype, they’re bringing the hit anime back to theaters for a special event. While the release date of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: To the Hashira Training is just around the corner, you’ll need to be quick to catch it before it leaves cinemas.
It is important to remember that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: To the Hashira Training isn’t a new film in the Demon Slayer series. It is a special event that isn’t getting a full theatrical run, so you shouldn’t expect it to stay in cinemas very long. For fans in the US and the UK, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: To the Hashira Training will be released on February 23, 2024.
Fans in other parts of the world will get to see the anime special on different days. All the recently announced dates are listed below:
- February 21: Malta
- February 22: Albania, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland (Italian-speaking), Ukraine, Uruguay, Venezuela
- February 23: Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Romania, South Africa, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States
- February 24: Estonia, France, Switzerland (French-speaking), and select countries in French-speaking Africa
- February 27: Austria, Germany, Switzerland (German-speaking)
In addition to these dates, Demon Slayer fans in select cities have a chance to attend a special screening that includes special guests from the production, including Natsuki Hanae, the voice actor behind Tanjiro. Those cities are:
- New York City on February 10
- Berlin on February 13
- Mexico City on February 17
- Sao Paulo on February 19
- Paris on February 24
- London on February 25
If your country isn’t listed here, don’t worry just yet – Crunchyroll has said that they have more dates to announce in the coming weeks before the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: To the Hashira Training world tour gets underway. We just need to be patient and wait for any incoming information.
