Another season of Doctor Who has finally wrapped up. Whether you call it season one or season 14 of the iconic sci-fi show, the adventures of Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor have been among the show’s best. However, now is the worst part – waiting for the next episode of Doctor Who to arrive. We might not know when the next season is due out, but we do know when The Doctor is set to return.
Predictably, Doctor Who season 15 is likely to air sometime in 2025 on both the BBC and Disney+ for international fans, around one year after the first episode of season 14 aired. If we had to guess, we would say that May 2025 is the likely premiere date for Doctor Who season 15, but that is simple speculation at this time.
What we do know is that The Doctor will be back a little sooner than that for the annual Christmas special. Because of that, we know that the next episode of Doctor Who will be:

So, what do we know about the upcoming season of Doctor Who? While we don’t know the release date, we do know that it will have eight episodes, just like season 14 did. We know that Millie Gibson’s Ruby Sunday will be back, though there will be an additional companion for Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor. We also know that Russell T. Davis, who helped revive the series back in 2005, will be back as showrunner.
Other than that, we’re still waiting for new details to emerge, but, like most things Doctor Who, it is just a matter of time.
