Critical Role’s Marisha Ray thinks the show should do a Spider-Verse style crossover with Fantasy High and other adventuring parties

The Critical Role cast is intrigued by the idea of doing a crossover event with their past guest stars

Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina

Tabletop gaming is more fun when you invite more friends.

Since its launch in 2015, the cast of Critical Role has had some memorable campaigns. At times they’ve invited friends along for the ride, and other times they’ve guest-starred on other RPG shows.

Which brings up an interesting question – how fun would the game be if all those adventuring parties came together for a big crossover?

The idea was broached at The Legend Continues: A Critical Role Cast Panel at C2E2 2025, and Critical Role cast member Marisha Ray was intrigued.

“That’s interesting. Like if you get our Fantasy High into our Bells Hells kind of a thing,” Ray said with excitement.

Of course, for this to work, they would need to bring back one of their old Dungeon Masters. “It’s a very fun idea. Does anyone have Brennan Lee Mulligan’s phone number? Maybe we should call him,” Ray said.

Of course, a Dungeon Master running a campaign like this would have their work cut out for them. Still, think of how epic it would be.
