FromSoft's Switch 2 exclusive game has 'blood' in the name, but it isn't Bloodborne 2
FromSoft is back with a Switch 2 exclusive called The Duskbloods, but where the heck is the Bloodborne sequel?

Bloodborne fans will have to keep roll dodging unit the near future at least, because it doesn't look like FromSoftware has any plans on releasing a Bloodborne sequel any time soon. The company has unveiled a look at their upcoming Switch 2 exclusive game called The Duskbloods, and its dark aesthetic and sanguine name all feel evocative of Bloodborne.
Let's all remember that Bloodborne came out back in 2015, the same year as The Witcher III. It's worth noting that The Witcher IV was announced just a few months ago at last year's Game Awards. Sorry Bloodborne fans, it looks like The Witcher community once again is eating well. You can check out the trailer for The Duskbloods below.
The first line of The Duskbloods trailer is literally, "I give you my blood," which more or less describes what the Bloodborne fandom has given to FromSoft. The visuals of The Duskbloods are undeniably beautiful though, scratching that dark gothic itch that Bloodborne has brought upon us. On a completely different note, there's a winged sphere resembling the head of Yoko Taro hovering in the skies, which I'm already intrigued by.
The Duskbloods won't be out until 2026, so you've got plenty of time to do another agonizing playthrough of Bloodborne until then. Or, if you're anything like me, you'll spend that time just in the character creation part of the game.
