We’ve all had friends who we lost touch with over time. It is normal and natural. But for the friends at the heart of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, their separation hides something darker. After 27 years, the four friends are reunited and it digs up old emotions and actions for the players to sort through. Lost Records: Bloom & Rage’s release date is coming, but you won’t get to play through the full story right away.

Developed by Don’t Nod, the studio behind Life is Strange, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is a narrative adventure game in the same vein as the studio’s previous hit. In it, four friends from a fictional town in Michigan are reunited after nearly three decades apart. Though they were close back in 1995, they’ve intentionally not spoken since then. The reason? Well, that will depend on how the player interacts with the other characters and the world they live in.

Like Life is Strange, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage will be released in two parts. The first will launch on February 18, 2025 while the conclusion of the story will be released on March 18, 2025. The reason for this, according to the developers, is to give fans the chance to “let the events of the story sink in” and allow people to come up with their own juicy fan theories about what will happen next.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 1 will be released on February 18, 2025. Tape 2 will be released March 18, 2025. Both parts will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, or Xbox consoles.

You don't need to beat the game to prepare for the next one—here are all the major new and upcoming games coming our way.
