There is almost two months between Tape 1 and Tape 2, so you'll have plenty of time to explore the world of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

For 27 years, the characters in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage have kept their distance. After becoming closer than sisters in the 90s, the four are forced apart by a tragedy. What was it that split the four girls apart and why have they had to come back now? We have to wait until Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 2 releases in April.

The game is being released in two parts. Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 1 releases on February 18, but fans will need to wait almost two months to find out how the story ends. Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 2 will come out on April 15, 2025 as a free download for those who bought the first part. This isn’t the first time developers Don’t Nod have had a staggered release date; Life is Strange had an episodic release schedule when it launched back in 2015.

Tape 2 was meant to come out in March, but was delayed until April so the developers could provide more polish to the game. However, they confirmed that purchasing the first Tape will automatically unlock Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 2 when it is released. Considering that the full game is expected to be between 10-12 hours long, fans will be glad to not have to pay twice for the experience.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 2 will be released for PlayStation and Xbox consoles and PC on April 15, 2025, nearly two months after Tape 1 introduces fans to the four best friends trying to unravel the mystery that drove them apart 27 years earlier.

You don't need to beat the game to prepare for the next one—here are all the major new and upcoming games coming our way.
