We’re only a few weeks into the current season of Marvel Snap, but fans are already looking forward to what comes next for the game. We haven’t had any official confirmation from Second Dinner about what they plan to do for the April 2025 Marvel Snap season, but dataminers seem to think they’ve uncovered their plans for a What If…? themed season in the near future.

While the information is still unofficial until it is confirmed by the developers, it looks like a What If…? season of Marvel Snap will be starting on April 1, 2025. At least, if dataminers are to be believed. They have reportedly uncovered six new cards that will be coming out in the next season of Marvel Snap, which includes some familiar names if you watched the Disney+ show. The most interesting is Captain Carter, but the full list is:

  • Captain Carter
  • Goliath
  • Kahhori
  • Infinity Ultron
  • Strange Supreme
  • Hydra Stomper

The new season will also include a new variant for Killmonger from his appearance in season one of What If…?

It is worth repeating that this is still very unofficial at this point. Seasons can change and dataminers can (and have) been wrong before. Even developers don’t always know what is going on in their code, so it can be tough for outsiders to fully understand it. However, there is enough information here to make us think that we’ll see a What If…? season in Marvel Snap in the future even if it doesn’t start on April 1, 2025 as the rumors say.

We can't give you extra life, but we can keep you appraised of all the Marvel Snap codes currently available - updated weekly! - as well as the rarest Marvel Snap cards.
