The new season of Marvel Snap has brought with it a handful of new cards to the mobile card game. One of them, Veronica Hand, can be the perfect addition to the kind of high-risk/high-reward strategy that we’re fond of playing. Alongside the right cards, she can provide a wicked boost in power – if you’re willing to take the gamble.
How to use Victoria Hand in Marvel Snap
The core of Veronica Hand’s ability to that she gives a +2 Power boost to every card that was created in your hand. That means that any time a card summons another card into your hand, it will get a power boost. For decks that focus on summoning, this can be a game-changing mechanic. If you can fill the field with cards that were created in your hand (as opposed to drawn from your deck) then this could boost your final score significantly.
It is worth noting that Victoria Hand’s ability in Marvel Snap is an Ongoing effect, which means it will boost those cards played after it goes into effect as well as those played before it. It doesn’t matter exactly when you play it but playing Victoria Hand too early will give your opponent time to potentially counter it. Choose your moment wisely.
Which cards work best with Victoria Hand in Marvel Snap?
Technically, any card that summons another card into your hand will benefit from Victoria Snap’s ability. However, to take advantage of the boost in Power, you need to get the card out onto the board. That means being able to summon low-cost cards and playing as many of them as you can.
The best cards to do that are:
- Agent 13
- Maria Hill
- Mirage
- Valentina
- The Hood
- Hawkeye Kate Bishop
- Iron Patriot
Personally, we think Valentina is a must-have with Victoria Hand as she effectively negates the -2 Power that Valentina gives a summoned card. Also, Hawkeye Kate Bishop allows you to spread the boost around in Turn 6 to make sure you win the game.
