Pac-Man, Tamagotchi, namco, and One Piece to have their own store in New York with Bandai Namco’s Cross Store

The first Bandai Namco Cross Store in the US will be home to multiple different shops including One Piece Card Game, Pac-Man, and Tamagotchi, and it's opening in Brooklyn February 28

Good news, New York nerds! At the end of this month, there’s going to be a Pac-Man store for all your ghost-hunting needs! Oh, and there’s also going to be a Tamagotchi store, too! And a namco store… and even more. Even better — everything is going to be happening under the same roof, as part of the first Bandai Namco Cross Store in the U.S.

The store, located in Japan Village in Brooklyn, will include specific ’shops’ for Bandai Spirit, Gashapon Bandai, MegaHouse, namco, One Piece Card Game, Pac-Man Select, Sun-Star Stationary, Tamagotchi, and Tamashii Nations. Any one of those would be exciting in and of themselves, but all together in one location? Who amongst us could resist?

There have already been eight such stores in Japan, but this will be the first U.S. expansion for the brand, which already opened a location in the United Kingdom back in 2023 in London’s Camden district.

“We are very excited for the opening of this first Bandai Namco Cross Store in USA,” John McKenzie, President and CEO of Bandai Namco Amusement America, Inc., said in a statement. “Our Brooklyn location will provide our Group with a wonderful opportunity to show our compelling range of products and services for consumers, fans and players alike.”

More importantly, it’ll also provide a brand new destination for generations of fans to target anytime they’re in New York. (I’m already thinking of how to best schedule my trip the next time I’m there.)

The Bandai Namco Cross Store in Brooklyn will open February 28.
