Rockstar Games should make a Mario Kart style game for Red Dead Redemption, says RDR voice actor
Roger Clark says the Red Dead Redemption franchise needs a game like Mario Kart, where the cowboys race on Shetland ponies

There’s no doubt that Red Dead Redemption 2 was a hit. This means a sequel is a no-brainer, but what type of game should it be?
Roger Clark, who plays Arthur Morgan in the Red Dead franchise, has an unusual idea.
“They should do a Mario Kart,” Clark said during the Outlaws for Life: A Red Dead Redemption Reunion panel at C2E2 2025.
Okay. I’m intrigued.
“Instead of little scooters, maybe they could do those tiny little horses. What are they called,” Clark continued.
Popverse’s Grant DeArmitt, who was moderating the panel, chimed in, reminding him that they’re called Shetland ponies.
“Shetland ponies,” Clark repeated with excitement. “Yes! We could throw banana peels in front of each other and stuff like that. That would be awesome.”
“Dutch as the Bowser character,” Grant suggested. “Yes! Or Donkey Kong. Who’s Luigi? Which one of us is Luigi? That’s the big question,” Clark said.
Honestly, as silly as this suggestion seems at first glance, I think he’s on to something. A western racing game with open world mechanics made by Rockstar Games? Think of how fun that would be to play.
Let Roger Clark cook.
