Who can you trust if you can’t trust a professional killer? Hit Man, an upcoming romantic comedy coming out later this year, is all about how looks can be deceptive. The movie is only getting a short theatrical run before it ends up on Netflix, so here are the upcoming Hit Man release dates so you know exactly when and where to catch it.

Hit Man releases on Netflix on June 7, 2024, but it is getting a short theatrical run as well. If you’re lucky enough to catch it in cinemas, Hit Man will release in theaters on May 24, 2024 in the US. There hasn’t been any confirmation of an international release yet.

In Hit Man, Glen Powell plays an undercover police officer with a very specific niche – he is exceptionally good at convincing people he is a professional killer. Using an array of disguises and cover stories, he runs numerous sting operations to arrest would-be conspirators. However, he meets his match when he falls in love with a woman wanting to hire his non-existent services. He is convinced that she is innocent but then her husband turns up dead and the whole thing gets complicated.

It is a fun premise that should do well when it lands on Netflix. It made a big splash when it debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2023, which is where Netflix acquired the rights. Hit Man stars Glen Powell, best known for his role in Scream Queens, and Adria Arjona, who played Bix Caleen in Andor.

Hit Man will get a limited US theatrical release on May 24, 2024 before it is added to the Netflix library on June 7, 2024.
