Shopping for original art is a core part of the fun of comics conventions, but it can get to be a little pricey, especially for those who want to build up their collection fast. That's why we were so excited to find a particularly exciting hidden gem at Emerald City Comic Con.
Fans of cartoonist Jeffrey Brown will recognize his unique art style from the Vader's Little Princess picture book and its many various spinoffs as well as the Jedi Academy books and his recent book featuring the silly antics of Thor and Loki, and if you want a piece of Jeffrey Brown original art, you can grab one of his original art trading cards featuring some familiar looking characters for a very good price.
One caveat though... Jeffrey Brown only sells these cards at conventions. We had the chance to stop by his table at ECCC to grab a couple for ourselves, and we highly recommend that if you are at a convention at which Brown is tabling, to stop by his table and take a quick peek at the cards he has on display for the weekend. You'll certainly find a ton to love, Star Wars and Loki and Thor included, and it's a great deal for a piece of original art.
