There's a new Justice League animated film, but it's got a bit of a twist. This time, the Justice League is teaming up, not with other superhero teams from the DC Universe, but with a superhero team from Remnant-- the RWBY team, to be specific. Yes, it's time for the Justice League X RWBY crossover movie.

Before the premiere of Justice League X RWBY: Superheroes and Huntsmen Part One, Popverse had a chance to chat with Cyborg voice actor Tru Valentino about what it was like to play a superhero.

"It was cool. I dont think I have ever played a superhero. Kind of, but to play a popular superhero, it was [my] first time doing that, and it's cool to think that years from now, hopefully, there's kids that watch this movie and they really like Cyborg's character, and I am that person that they will think of when they think of this movie. Because growing up, surprisingly enough, I was very into paying attention to different voice actors. .. so to give that same kind of thing to kids moving forward, would be pretty cool."

As for Valentino's favorite voice performers and performances, Valentino mentioned Charlie Adler (Tiny Toon Adventures, Smurfs, Rocko's Modern Life), who later directed Valentino on the Hulu show Madagascar: A Little Wild, and Johnny Young Bosch for his performance of Nero in the game Devil May Cry 4, "I thought that was fantastic."

Watch Tru Valentino's Cyborg in Justice League X RWBY: Superheroes and Huntsmen Part One starting April 25, 2023.
