Fans of legal drama, rejoice. The Lincoln Lawyer has been for a third season. The Netflix original, which premiered in May of 2022, follows defense attorney Mickey Haller, an eccentric and recovering addict who operates in the city of Los Angeles out of a Lincoln navigator.

According to a press release sent out by Netflix today, Season 3 will consist of ten episodes and follow the plot of the novel The Gods of Guilt, the fifth book in the Mickey Haller series written by Michael Connelly. Returning to the series as Mickey is Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, along with Becki Newton as Lorna, Jazz Raycole as Izzy, Angus Sampson as Cisco and Yaya DaCosta as Andrea Freemann.

Regular Popverse readers will recall that The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 took a surprise place in Netflix's Top 10 shows the week it debuted, scoring over 55 million hours watched. This was enough to put it above The Witcher Season 3 in its own debut week, a shocking turn of events considering The Witcher's fandom. Fans chalk it up to everything from a departure from the books to the fact that Henry Cavill is leaving the show.

Maybe it's just the fact that Geralt doesn't do his monster hunting in a convertible.

Whatever the reason for its success, The Lincoln Lawyer's third season will doubtless have some impressive numbers when it comes to Netflix. Right now, unfortunately, we don't have an exact date as to when that will happen, and with the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes still ongoing, it's unlikely we'll know anytime soon.

Speaking of unconventional lawyers, Marvel's Jennifer Walters is not what you'd call an average advocate. Popverse put together a list of She-Hulk's wildest cases for your reading pleasure.
