Celebrate America's national parks with a new Dr. Seuss/Parks Projects apparel collab

Oh, the places you'll go in this new 12-piece collection inspired by the classic Dr. Seuss book

It’s one thing to have been raised on the works of Dr. Seuss and love those stories in your ear, and another to be able to display that love for all to see. Later this week, it’ll become a lot easier to achieve the latter with the release of Oh, the Places You’ll Go, a new 12-piece apparel and accessories line showcasing art and designs inspired by the Seuss classic of the same name.

The new line is a partnership between Dr. Seuss Enterprises, the company representing the works and estate of the beloved author, and Parks Projects, a certified B Corp established in 2014 with the ambition to inspire the next generation of park conversationists. It’ll include fleece jackets, socks, t-shirts and more in sizes for kids and adults. (You can see a gallery of some of the pieces in the collection at the bottom of this post.)

“We’re thrilled to partner with Dr. Seuss to bring the beauty of our national parks into the whimsical world of ‘Oh, the Places You’ll Go!’” said Parks Project co-founder and CEO Keith Eshelmen. “This story has inspired countless adventures, and we couldn’t be more excited to merge its motivational message with our mission to protect and preserve these wild places. Just as the book encourages us to move mountains, we’re doing the same in our way — empowering the next generation of adventurers and conservationists to explore, dream, and leave it better than they found it.”

And when it comes to the places this campaign will go, we’ll start with Washington’s Mount Rainier, which provides the backdrop for the first releases from the collaboration.

"We chose Mount Rainier for our Oh, The Places You’ll Go! collaboration with Dr. Seuss because it captures the magic of adventure and discovery. Mount Rainier, with its awe-inspiring views and wild beauty, reflects the sense of wonder and possibility that the book is all about,” said Parks Project President, Jack Gray. “Just like the story encourages us to embrace the journey ahead, Rainier reminds us of the amazing places we can reach when we step outside and explore. This collab is all about celebrating nature’s beauty and the adventurous spirit in all of us.”

The line will launch October 30, and be available in retailers across North America including Urban Outfitters, Tilly’s, Sports Basement, and Backcountry. More information is available here.
