Good morning Popverse! Today, we're thrilled to announce the first episode in the Popverse Reads series, in which Popverse's video producer Ashley V. Robinson chats with some of the most popular authors currently writing. And not only that, we're also excited to announce our first guest: master of horror Grady Hendrix!
In case you're not familiar, Grady Hendrix is the author of hit horror novels How to Sell a Haunted House, The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires, and My Best Friend's Exorcism, which was adapted to film by Prime Video. Most recently, Grady came out with the folk-horror-leaning, '70s-set Witchcraft for Wayward Girls, which we'll be discussing for Popverse Reads.
Grady will be sitting down with Popverse around the virtual cauldron to discuss all manner of things witchcraft, horror, and of course, his previous works. The chat will be happening LIVE on Popverse's YouTube channel (and on this page!) on Thursday, March 20, at 9PM EST. Join to hear what Grady has to say about his newest book and to submit your own questions to one of horror's biggest modern authors.
In the meantime, you can read Popverse's interview with Grady Hendrix from NYCC 2024 right now, and pick up your copy of Witchcraft for Wayward Girls on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Bookshop.org. Don't come unprepared - remember, a witch is only as good as her reading material.
