Chicago's C2E2 2026 dates are here and its parallel with LA's WonderCon & Kansas City's Planet Comicon

The dates for C2E2 2026 are here - and it's going to be a busy weekend for those in the comic con business.

Get immersed in the recent C2E2 2025 in Chicago with our full recap of the weekend, our Main Stage panel videos, best cosplay photos, and more. And if you want to do it all again next year, we've got the dates for C2E2 2026, too.

Chicago's C2E2 2025 hasn't even begun yet, but ReedPop has already announced the dates for the marquee event's return the following year.

C2E2 2026 will be taking place March 27 through 29, 2026, once again in the largest convention center in North America, McCormick Place. While guests, panels, exhibitors and all of that for C2E2 2026 won't begin to be announced until closer to the event, there's already once bit of news in the date chosen - it's the same time as two other big regional comic conventions.

C2E2 2026 will be going head-to-head against the L.A. area WonderCon event and the Kansas City staple of Planet Comicon. While the distance between Chicago, Anaheim, and Kansas City might preclude most fans from being forced into a decision, for those that travel for cons - such as more devoted fans, as well as comic creators, exhibitors, and guests - this will force a hard decision for March 27 through 29 next year.

WonderCon boasts over 65,000 fans each year, with Planet Comic Con just under it with 60,000; For the 2024 C2E2 event, ReedPop said over 85,000 people were in attendance.

How will Popverse decide? We'll of course be at C2E2 in 2026, but we will also be at WonderCon... and possibly Planet Comicon as well.
