Chris Evans has a favorite season (and a favorite holiday or three)

Last year, Evans spoke at New York Comic Con, which just happened to be during his favorite time of year

And you thought Ryan Gosling was The Fall Guy.

Chris Evans' comic conventions panels are always a must-see for fans of the Captain America actor or, more specifically, fans that want to hear him talk about his personal life. At New York Comic Con 2023, those fans got a window into what Evans was up to around that October, which, as it happens, is his favorite time of year.

After telling Popverse's Veronica Valencia that he was "gearing up for Autumn," Evans expounded on his love for the season, saying, "it's the smells that kind of signal what's coming [...] those dead leaves mean that Halloween's coming, that means Thanksgiving's coming, that means that Christmas is coming. It's just kind of the trifecta of my favorite holidays and my favorite time of year."

Asked if he has a favorite out of that list of holidays, Evans struggled.

"That's tough," he said, after some time to think, "Is it Halloween? It might be. I mean, it might be Halloween. I tell you what, it's Halloween and Christmas. It's a neck-and-neck race. I love Thanksgiving, but, but I think Halloween and Christmas are duking it out. But when I grew up, Christmas was a lot more... we had snow and for some reason [...] And now you're lucky if you get snow in December, which is such a shame."

Worth noting here - Chris Evans is set to star in this holiday's Red One, which will see his bounty-hunting character on the hunt for a kidnapped Santa Clause. One hopes that, should the villain of the film end up being Halloween-based, Evans doesn't let personal preference get in the way of his job.
