Critical Role is coming to NYCC 2025, and Superfans have first dibs on a big pre-show event

Critical Role is playing Radio City Music Hall two days before NYCC 2025, and Superfans will get early access to that show's presale

The dust has barely settled on New York Comic Con 2024 yet — just ask Team Popverse, which is still recovering from the event, even as we set sail towards MCM London — but sights have already been turned towards next year’s NYCC, with the first guests already announced… and the first off-site event of the year, as well. And it’s a big one.

The cast of Critical Role — that’s Taliesin Jaffe, Liam O'Brien, Marisha Ray, Ashley Johnson, Travis Willingham, Sam Riegel, Laura Bailey, and Matthew Mercer, in case you’re wondering — will be at New York Comic Con 2025 for Thursday and Friday of the show, which would be October 9 and 10, in case you missed the announcement of next year’s dates. But wait, there’s more: they’re also going to be doing a live show at Radio City Music Hall on October 7, and NYCC Superfans and 2024 VIP ticket holders get access to he presale for the event, which opens 10am October 29 — or next Tuesday, if your calendar isn’t close to hand.

If all of this sounds too exciting an opportunity to pass up, perhaps you should become a Superfan while there’s still time… and then start counting the days not just until the Radio City Music Hall presale, but New York Comic Con 2025 itself. After all, it’s already less than a year away (somehow).

Please note: the Radio City Music Hall show is not organized by ReedPop, the parent company of both NYCC and Popverse. The presale has a limited number of tickets available, and those tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis; NYCC Superfans and VIP ticket holders are not guaranteed access to the Radio City Music Hall show.
