This year's been an exciting one for DC Comics and its cinematic sister, DC Studios, and there's only more exciting stuff on the horizon. You can spend your time remembering or speculating with your pals, but if you want to hear about DC's doings from the doers (as we know you do), we highly recommend checking out NYCC's star-studded DC panels, listed below along with their date, time, and location for your convenience:

  • HBO’s THE PENGUIN: Extended Sneak Peek and Conversations with Colin Farrell, Cast and Creatives - October 17, 11AM, Empire Stage
  • DC Queer Trivia - October 17, 3PM, Pride Lounge: 1C01-02
  • Bats in Translation: “Batman Ninja vs Yakuza League” and “Batman Azteca: Choque De Imperios” Video Presentation and Panel - October 17, 3PM, Main Stage
  • DC Comics: DC’s Gotham City  - October 17, 5:15PM, Room 406.3
  • DC's Absolute/All In Universes - October 18, 4PM, Room 406.2
  • Max Original Animation Presents: CREATURE COMMANDOS - October 19, 4:45PM, Empire Stage

Head to the the NYCC website or download the NYCC 2024 app for info on all the panels happening this year (and trust me, there are a lot).

The DC Meetups at NYCC '24

But as any DC creator will tell you, it's the fans that made the World's Greatest Superheroes (and Villains) what they are today, and there are so many opportunities to meet up with those fans at NYCC '24. Swap cosplay tips with your fellow Justice Leaguer, argue over who played the best Batman on film (it's Will Arnett), or maybe even meet the Joker to your Harley Quinn by attending one of the three DC meetups, listed here:

  • DC Universe Meetup and Photoshoot - October 17, 3PM, at the South Concourse Meetups
  • DC Universe Meetup and Photoshoot 2 - October 18, 1:30PM, at the South Concourse Meetups
  • DC Universe Meetup and Photoshoot 3 - October 19, 3PM, at the South Concourse Meetups

Again, you can check out the NYCC website or download the NYCC 2024 app for more details on these and other meetups happening at the con. But don't take too long - the DC community is waiting!

Grant DeArmitt

Grant DeArmitt: Grant DeArmitt (he/him) likes horror, comics, and the unholy union of the two. As Popverse's Staff Writer, he criss-crosses the pop culture landscape bringing you the news and opinions about the big things (and the next big things). In the past, and despite their better judgment, he has written for Nightmare on Film Street and Newsarama. He lives in Brooklyn with his partner, Kingsley, and corgi, Legs.
