HBO's Dune: Prophecy prequel series is coming to New York Comic Con 2024

As you've seen from the two Dune movies (and reading creator Frank Herbert's original novels), the story of Dune goes back millennia - and in the upcoming HBO original series, Dune: Prophecy, we'll see the beginnings of it all. One of the first places you'll learn about it is New York Comic Con 2024, taking place this October.
HBO and Legendary Pictures are ushering the highly vaunted prestige sci-fi series Dune: Prophecy to New York Comic Con with both a huge panel as well as a fan interaction. All four days of NYCC 2024, the show's streaming platform Max will launch Dune: Prophecy Experience, an interactive fan activation done in partnership with Droga5. And on Thursday October 17, there will be an official Dune: Prophecy panel on one of NYCC's big stages - with both the reveal of the show's first official trailer, as well as the show's stars & creative teams taking part in a panel discussion.
“We can’t wait for fans to dive into the world of Dune: Prophecy,” said Pia Barlow, Executive Vice President, Originals Marketing, HBO, and Max. “By offering interactive experiences, panels, and special screenings, we’re bringing the epic story of the Sisterhood to life, allowing fans to connect with the series in a whole new way before its premiere this November.”
What is the Dune: Prophecy Experience at NYCC 2024?
The Dune: Prophecy Experience is a bespoke activation that will bring Dune's mysterious world of Wallach IX to downtown NYC, where Bene Gesserit's The Voice will guide you and your companions on a series of trials reflecting the Sisterhood's rigorous training methods. If you complete the trials successfully, you will get exclusive NYCC/Dune swag.
What is the Dune: Prophecy panel at NYCC 2024?
The official Dune: Prophecy panel at NYCC 2024 will feature showrunner Alison Schapker, executive producer Jordan Goldberg, and series star Emily Watson, along with co-stars Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Sara-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, and Jessica Barden talking about the upcoming series as well as debuting the first full trailer for the show.
Dune: Prophecy is scheduled to debut this November on HBO.
