Wondering how best to spend your time at Emerald City Comic Con 2025 when it takes place at the Seattle Convention Center March 6 through 9? May we kindly suggest spending some time at the Pride Lounge, a space offering the chance to decompress, relax, meet some new friends (or have somewhere to chill with old ones) and — for those 13 and over — enjoy some special after-hours activities, as well.

Located on the fourth floor of the Summit building (that’s the new one, for those still getting used to the two building layout) and presented by national non-profit organization FREE2LUV (which aims to utilize the arts and conversation to empower and support youth struggling with identity, mental health, self-harm, and bullying), the Pride Lounge is a queer-centric space at the heart of ECCC 2025 that’s filled with activities, games, and even a social station throughout the entire show.

Cosplay Culture with SheProp: Supporting women, trans, two spirit and non-binary cosplayers in a creative world

Women, trans, two spirit and nonbinary cosplayers can face unique challenges when looking for help. Issues including body shaming, ability shaming, and misogyny can be barriers for finding support, but the SheProp community is here to help! Our panelists of experienced cosplayers are ready to answer all of your questions about creating a costume or surviving and thriving in the cosplay community. Join the discussion and find out why SheProp has quickly become a vital presence in the cosplay world. SheProp provides a space for accessible support and encouragement for costume designers, SFX artists, cosplayers and more, at all skill levels. (Note: This is a Pride Lounge-adjacent panel, but not happening in the Lounge itself; note the room!)
