Orlando Bloom & Andy Serkis from Lord of the Rings are coming to NYCC 2024

You can have his bow, but not his ring - as Lord of the Rings' Legolas and Gollum actors are coming to New York Comic Con.

Don't miss New York Comic Con 2024, happening October 17 through 20. Popverse will be there all four days, immersing ourselves in the pop culture party full of vendors, events, and celebrities from the worlds of comics, movies, TV, gaming, and more. Buy tickets now!

Two of the best parts of the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy are reuniting, and you don't have to go all the way to Middle-Earth to see it. Orlando Bloom and Andy Serkis are coming to New York Comic Con 2024. The cinematic Legolas and Gollum are coming to NYCC 2024 on Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20 to meet fans both with Autograph sessions and Photo Op experiences.

As with all NYCC 2024 guests, Popverse NYCC Superfans will get first access to booking those Andy Serkis and Orlando Bloom Autos and Photo Ops with a presale beginning right now (check your emails, Superfans!). The remaining fan experiences will then go on sale to the general public Wednesday, October 2 at 10 AM Eastern.

While they're forever united by the Lord of the Rings movies, they have also carved out legacies for their own. Serkis has gone on to be an accomplished director on things such as the second Venom film, while also continuing to act - including with two distinct, major roles in the Star Wars movies. For Bloom, he followed up Lord of the Rings with the Pirates of the Caribbean series and other movies including the under-rated The Outpost.

Serkis was recently announced as director and star in a live-action/CGI Lord of the Rings movie tentatively titled The Hunt for Gollum. It's to be set concurrent to the original Lord of the Rings film trilogy Serkis and Bloom are best known for, and is to begin filming in 2025. While Bloom hasn't been announced for the movie, he has said he's talked with Serkis about the possibility.

But before then, they're reuniting to star in the comics/movie/tv cavalcade that is New York Comic Con 2024.
