Charlie Cox knows which Marvel hero he wants to co-headline Daredevil's MCU big screen debut with
It's not Spider-Man (although he is tempted)... And maybe it's more "anti-hero" vibes, anyway...

Everyone, it seems, wants to see Daredevil in a Marvel Studios movie. The subject actually came up twice during Charlie Cox’s panel at Rose City Comic Con 2024 in Portland, Oregon — although, in both cases, fans were upfront about not just wanting to see Matt Murdock’s horned alter-ego on the big screen, but to see him teaming up with other Marvel characters.
Initially, Cox was asked whether, now that all members of so-called “Team Red” are officially part of the MCU, he’d be willing to be part of a Team Red movie.
“I mean, Team Red would be Daredevil, Deadpool and Spider-Man?” he asked, to confirm that everyone was on the same page. “I mean…” he added, with a gesture to make it clear that he would, unsurprisingly be very okay co-starring with two of the biggest Marvel Studios characters to date.
A later question came from another fan, who asked what Marvel character — inside the MCU or otherwise — he’d want to make a Marvel Team-Up style movie with.
“There’s an obvious one, there’s a really obvious one which I’d love to explore, just because of the history in the comics, and I got one scene with that character in a film,” Cox teased without saying the words “Spider-Man” at all. (Don’t worry; everyone understood, and he got a round of applause for the answer.) Here’s the thing, though; Spidey wasn’t his final answer.
“It’d be cool to do a Daredevil/Punisher film,” he said immediately after hinting at Spider-Man. Are you listening, Marvel? It would make for a great follow-up to Daredevil: Born Again after the series debuts on Disney+ in March 2025…
