They're beautifully weird, often shy, and when they get together, they can go crazy.
Are we talking about cats or Comic Con attendees? It doesn't really matter, as they were both out in force in San Diego this past weekend.
Popverse was of course there for the convention, and we simply had to gather up all the cat content for our readers. It's our duty as journalists, no? Check out all that's fit-to-kit in the video above, from our own video producer Ashley Victoria Robinson.
Some highlights: Ashley got to chat cat with several of SDCC's talanted cosplayers, including @Coocachoo_cosplay (the bunny in the video) and @Harlikane (Catwoman with the Joelle Jones-designed outfit). Then, as a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of SDCC, Ashley took a trip to one of San Diego's most feline-forward institutions, a place that Team Popverse visits every time they're in America's Finest City.
That was, of course, The Cat Café, managed by the lovely Tony Wang. The Café is a great place to visit, con season or no, and people with a heart for our furry friends should check it out if they're in town. And even if you're not, you can follow The Cat Café's Facebook and Instagram accounts for bits, bobs, and beans, of both the coffee and toe variety.
