San Diego Comic-Con 2024 hasn't even happened yet, and we already know when we can celebrate it again - in fact, we know the next two times we can. 

 In 2025, San Diego Comic-Con's organizers are hosting their first ever con-on–a-boat with Comic-Con: The Cruse February 5 - 9, 2025. Following that, the next official Comic-Con event will be San Diego Comic-Con 2025 on July 23 through July 27, 2025. As with previous years, the Wednesday of SDCC 2025 will be its 'Preview Night' - with access limited to those with a 4-day badge (and those with various pro badges, of course). This information was first reported by the Unofficial SDCC blog.

As with 2024, SDCC 2025 will be the same week as the comic con chain GalaxyCon's Raleigh, North Carolina event that same weekend - July 24 - 27. And for Popverse, it'll be just a few days after our parent company ReedPop's annual Florida Supercon event in Miami Beach.

And in what is seemingly a new SDCC tradition, for the second year in a row there will be an MCU movie the week of San Diego Comic-Con 2025: Fantastic Four is scheduled to open in theaters July 25, and is already part of Marvel Studios' SDCC 2024 marketing.

Is San Diego Comic-Con 2025 sold out?

Tickets for San Diego Comic-Con 2025 aren't sold out… because they haven't even gone on sale yet. Tickets for SDCC 2025 are scheduled to go on sale Saturday, October 26, 2024 - and are expected to sell out in minutes.

 What celebrities will be at Comic-Con 2025 in San Diego?

Yes, Popverse will be at San Diego Comic-Con. We can confidently announce we'll be there, but so far there's no other celebrities announced for the 2025 event. The event typically announces guests beginning in the spring, and the movie/tv studios and other companies announce their plans (and who will be there) in the last weeks of June and the first weeks of July.

Will Marvel be at Comic-Con 2025?

Officially, Marvel hasn't announced if they plan to be at San Diego Comic-Con 2025. That being said, it's a given Marvel will be there in some respect - given the Marvel Comics company is a staple of the con, and even in years where Marvel Studios doesn't officially appear they do so in other mens such as with Marvel Animation as they did in 2023.

How long will Comic-Con stay in San Diego?

San Diego Comic-Con has a deal with the City of San Diego through the year 2026. Meaning that barring any contractual issues (or even worse, a pandemic), SDCC will be in San Diego at least for the next two years.
