Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio talked Daredevil: Born Again at NYCC 2024

Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio made a surprise appearance at the Marvel Fanfare panel at NYCC to drop a few crumbs about Daredevil: Born Again

Don't miss New York Comic Con 2024, happening October 17 through 20. Popverse is here all four days, immersing ourselves in the pop culture party full of vendors, events, and celebrities from the worlds of comics, movies, TV, gaming, and more.

The Marvel Fanfare panel was absolutely stacked for Daredevil fans at New York Comic Con this year. Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio came out to uproarious applause as they crashed an already star-studded Marvel Fanfare panel, which included Frank Miller, Charles Soule, Steve McNiven, and Sana Amanat. While Cox and D’Onofrio were given a comically small list of things about Daredevil: Born Again that they could talk about at the panel, they nonetheless offered some tidbits of insight about the show.

Charlie Cox noted that “There’s an element to suggest that [Daredevil and Kingpin] recognize that their obsession with each other and the hatred towards each other has potentially caused more outward damage than good… They have to find a way to reconcile their differences early on.”

Cox and D’Onofrio’s appearances at the panel was accompanied by a screening of the trailer for the series, which features a scene where Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk sit down at a diner with each other, echoing Cox’s words in the panel. Fisk smugly refers to Murdock’s other “half,” suggesting that Fisk knows that Murdock is Daredevil. The drama! We have so much to look forward to.

Daredevil: Born Again debuts on Disney+ March 4, 2025.
