Don't miss New York Comic Con 2024, happening October 17 through 20. Popverse is here all four days, immersing ourselves in the pop culture party full of vendors, events, and celebrities from the worlds of comics, movies, TV, gaming, and more.

Are you ready to return to the Immortal Universe? AMC’s television franchise is cooking up some spooky stuff, with new seasons of Mayfair Witches and Interview with the Vampire on their way. However, when it comes to shared universes, the question on everyone’s mind is always crossovers.

During a Mayfair Witches spotlight panel, executive producer Mark Johnson was asked about potential crossovers with Mayfair Witches and Interview with the Vampire. “It’s very hard for us to think of legitimate ways to crossover between Mayfair Witches and Interview with the Vampire.”

Johnson went on to say The Talamasca, an upcoming Immortal Universe project, will feature more crossovers. “In the show we’re shooting right now, The Talamasca, there is going to be considerable crossover, and some characters that you’ve fallen in love with, or fallen in hate with from both shows may appear in The Talamasca.”

However, Mayfair Witches showrunner Esta Spalding said that an upcoming Mayfair Witches episode will feature a crossover character. “We do have one character we were lucky enough to get from Interview with the Vampire who comes into our third episode. So that’s a little episode three teaser. You will see one character,” Spalding said.

It sounds like the Immortal Universe is expanding, and there are some exciting things ahead. Mayfair Witches season 2 premieres on AMC on January 5, 2025.
