"We're not a team" Watch the first teaser trailer for Marvel Studios' supergroup The Marvels

It's not just Captain Marvel 2 - this movie also features Ms. Marvel and WandaVision's Monica Rambeau

Never mind The Avengers-- 2023’s The Marvels might just be the MCU team-up that fans have been waiting for — especially given that it features the big screen debut of both Ms. Marvel and Teyonah Harris’ newly-powered version of Monica Rambeau.

Tough luck, though; that wait might be even more difficult now that Marvel Studios has released the first teaser for the movie.

Take a look at our first glimpse at The Marvels right now:

In the trailer, we see Nick Fury talking to Captain Monica Rambeau in space, before Rambeau ends up using her powers and swapping places with Kamala Khan, setting up the premise of the film-- the fact that The Marvels need to team up to see what exactly is going on when they're using their powers.

As the name suggests, The Marvels is a team-up between Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) and Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani), with Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Harris) in the mix as well.

What is behind the mysterious mix-up that’s seeing each of the three swap places every time they use their powers, and how can they stop it happening? Only writer/director Nia DaCosta and co-writers Megan McDonnell, Elissa Karasik, and Deb Wells know for sure — although it’s a safe bet that Nick Fury, once again played by the venerable Samuel L. Jackson, knows more than anyone else around him.

The new movie is a follow-up not just to 2019’s Captain Marvel, but also last year’s Ms. Marvel series on Disney+ as well as certain events in WandaVision… with Nick Fury’s appearance suggesting that there might be a tie-in to the Secret Invasion miniseries, as well. As such, consider it a key text for the MCU’s newly-launched Phase 5 — and an unmissable movie event in its own right, as well.

The Marvels will crash into theaters November 10, 2023, after change in the Marvel schedule. Buy tickets on Fandango or Atom Tickets.

Why not jump back in time to summer 2022, and the Marvel Studios panel from Comic-Con International at San Diego?
