In the past 12 years, Miles Morales has gone from a small idea to a superstar with multiple comic book series, video games, and now even movies. And this March 2024, his proverbial hometown - Marvel Comics- is celebrating Rio Morales' baby boy in a big way, with a big number.

This March, the Miles Morales: Spider-Man comic book series which launched last year will be changing its issue numbering. Instead of Miles Morales: Spider-Man #18 coming out in March (following February's #17), the March 2024 issue will be Miles Morales: Spider-Man #300 - celebrating it as the 300th issue of Miles Morales' solo title across multiple volumes (and a few slightly different titles).

Announced during LA Comic Con's Spider-Man: Gang War panel, Miles Morales: Spider-Man #300 will be a giant-size anthology featuring stories from current series creators Cody Ziglar and Federico Vicentini, along with returning co-creator Sara Pichelli and othrr notable artists from the character's past including David Marquez and Juann Cabal, and more to be announced.

"To be completely honest it's very surreal to be able to write Miles' 300th issue,” Ziglar said in a subsequent press rellease. “This is a character I’ve been following and rooting for for almost 12 years now. There's so much crammed into this issue and I'm forever grateful that I have been trusted to continue to carry the torch for Miles after Bendis and Ahmed."

Miles Morales: Spider-Man #300 (aka Miles Morales: Spider-Man #18) goes on sale March 27, 2024.
