Anora: 2025's Academy Award Winner for Best Picture sets streaming date on Hulu

Miss out on the most awarded film at this year's Oscars? Don't worry, you'll be able to stream it very soon

It's unquestionable: the biggest winner at this year's Oscars was Anora, directed by Sean Baker. The film, which stars Mikey Madison as a sex worker in Brooklyn, took him Best Picture at the latest Academy Awards, the 97th film to win the title. And now, viewers at home can be a part of the film's history-making impact, as streamer Hulu as officially set a streaming date for the award winner.

According to a post from Hulu's official Instagram page, the film will stream starting March 17.

Along with taking home the most coveted prize at the Oscars, Anora was also awarded with a bevy of further achievements, including star Madison's winning of the Best Actress Award and director Sean Baker's winning of the Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Editing Awards. As Town & Country has mentioned already, Baker became the first person to win four Oscars for one movie.

As pointed out by Deadline (who reported on the streaming date earlier), Anora is a Neon-produced project, and the streaming agreement between Neon and Hulu would have viewers correctly assuming that the film was always going to that platform. Not for nothing, Hulu is also streaming the Oscar-winning A Real Pain (starring Best Supporting Actor-winner Kieran Culkin), available now.

Anora will stream on Hulu March 17.
