Why the internet believes Tatiana Maslany's She-Hulk will be in Avengers: Doomsday
No, She-Hulk season 2 has not been greenlit. But according to some online sleuths, we may see Jennifer Walters in 2026's biggest MCU event

Let's face it: Marvel Cinematic Universe fans can get a little conspiratorial. However, we have to admit that a recent online deduction regarding Tatiana Maslany's character Jennifer Walters, AKA She-Hulk, has got our eyebrows cocked. And since it regards 2026's Avengers: Doomsday, we thought we'd invite you to explore it with us.
The theory, reported on by ComicBookMovie.com, is that Maslany will appear in the upcoming 2026 Avengers film, which sees Endgame helmers Joe & Anthony Russo back in the directors' chairs. The Maslany theory was sparked by her departure from Comic Con Liverpool, who posted that Maslany wouldn't be able to attend "due to filming commitments." It didn't take long for fans to discover that the dates Maslany was supposed to appear at the con, May 3 & 4, fit neatly into the reported filming schedule for Avengers: Doomsday.
(That is, the filming schedule according to Captain America Anthony Mackie, as reported by Deadline.)
Exciting though this idea may be, let's remember that online speculation is just that, no matter how convincing an argument may be made for its veracity. For example, She-Hulk herself was recently in the news for being part of a "leaked" set of Avengers: Doomsday concept art images, and the internet in wide swaths began preparing for her return. However, the Russo brothers spoke out about the images with The Hollywood Reporter, calling them, "not our concept art."
It's a great reminder that MCU actors do have other things going on, after all, and not every cancelled convention experience is due to a highly secret project such as filming an upcoming Marvel movie. Not to say that we don't appreciate a good fan theory every once in a while. Surely you remember that Wolverine tease we thought we clocked in Captain America: Brave New World, right?
She-Hulk is streaming on Disney+ now. Whether the titular character appears in Avengers: Doomsday is something that may not be confirmed until the film's release on May 1, 2026.
