Nevertheless, Deadpool elevated himself above the norm with his witty quips and pottymouth, as if Dennis Leary played Spider-Man. Where it particularly sings (and stings) is when Deadpool makes meta jokes about things outside the bounds of the stories he's in. And in the Deadpool comics and the three Deadpool movies to date, his favorite punching bag is Zack Snyder's DC movies.
