It’s a tail - er, that is, a tale as old as time. A police officer and his loyal police dog are injured in the line of duty. But a harebrained operation saves both of their lives… by fusing them together. Thus was Dog Man unleashed on the world. Perhaps you’re already familiar with Dog Man thanks to the incredibly successful 12 (soon to be 13) book series by Dav Pilkey. But soon, Dog Man will achieve even greater notoriety thanks to a big-screen adaptation arriving in January 2025. But who can you expect to hear lend their voices to the New York Times bestselling characters when the movie arrives?

The Dog Man movie from Dreamworks Animation will feature:

• Pete Davidson as Petey the Cat
• Isla Fisher as Sarah Hatoff the TV Reporter
• Poppy Liu as Butler, Petey’s assistant
• Stephen Root as Grampa
• Billy Boyd as Seamus, Sarah’s cameraman
• Ricky Gervais as Flippy the Fish

The movie’s story will see Petey creating a clone, Lil Petey, to assist him in his evil machinations. However, Lil Petey ends up befriending Dog Man. Further complications arrive when a common enemy kidnaps Lil Petey, forcing Dog Man and Petey to save up and rescue the kitten clone.

Dog Man is directed by Peter Hastings (The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants) and produced by Karen Foster. Will you be checking out Dog Man when it arrives in theaters on January 31, 2025?
