As Agatha All Along nears, Elizabeth Olsen doesn't rule out the Scarlet Witch's return to the MCU if they can "use her well"
The Scarlet Witch is certainly a complicated character inside the MCU.

The time of the witch has arrived for the MCU, with Agatha All Along about to swoop onto Disney+ later this week. However, what about the most famous witch in the MCU? Is there any chance that Elizabeth Olsen could return as Scarlet Witch following her apparent demise in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, you might be wondering - and the actress has recently admitted that while she isn’t totally opposed to the idea of a return to Marvel, she isn’t chomping at the bit to get back, either.
The statement comes as rumors that Olsen is already in talks to come back to the MCU for the upcoming Vision series on Disney+, joining James Spader and Paul Bettany. In an interview with FM104, Elizabeth Olsen was asked if she had any interest in returning to the MCU and the role of Wanda Maximoff. “It’s a character that I love going back to when there’s a way to use her well, and I think I have been lucky that when I started, I was used well.”
However, Olsen was quick to point out that Scarlet Witch wasn’t always used well in the MCU, though she wasn’t about to burn any bridges with Marvel just yet. “I think people didn’t know what to do with me for a second there,” she explained. Chances are she is referring to the jarring villainous turn she took in Doctor Stranger and the Multiverse of Madness, which was polarizing for many fans. But the door remains open. “If there’s a good way to use her, I’m always happy to come back.”
None of this is confirmation that Elizabeth Olsen is returning to Marvel, but she wouldn’t be able to say if she was coming back anyway. Just like Andrew Garfield has for the past several years, she has to dance around the subject when it gets brought up until an official announcement about her potential return as Wanda is made.
