Five Nights at Freddy’s prize counter was so alluring, one of the movie actors wanted to swipe the goodie

What’s behind the prize counter at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza anyway?

Do you remember when you were a kid and there was nothing more exciting than exchanging your arcade tickets at a prize counter?

It turns out that prize counters are just as tempting when you’re an adult….even if they’re inside a building haunted by living animatronics. Just ask Kevin Foster. The actor and stuntman recently portrayed Freddy Fazbear in the 2023 Five Nights at Freddy’s film. This meant that Foster spent a lot of time on Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza set, where his eyes were immediately drawn to the prize counter.

Speaking to a crowd at Days of the Dead Las Vegas 2024, Foster recalled the allure of the prizes. “The whole time we were shooting, I was eyeing the prize counter,” Foster confessed. I take my kids to Chuck-E-Cheese and all that stuff, and I’m like, ‘That’s good, but I’m not going to waste my money on that crap.’ The prize counter at Freddy Fazbears, I was like, ‘It’s Sunday, nobody will know.’ I resisted.”

What kind of prizes does Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza have anyway?  A fan wiki breaks down all the items the video game version of the pizzeria has to offer, but the movie version is another story. According to Foster, it was lots and lots of super balls. “There’s like a whole bin of super balls. It wasn’t anything specific, it was just anything from the prize counter at the restaurant. It was so luring.”

Honestly, I’m with Foster on this one. Super balls are awesome, even if they’re in a pizzeria populated by killer animatronics.
