Harrison Ford answers the MCU mustache question

Do you miss MCU Thunderbolt Ross' mustache? Harrison Ford gets asked what happened to it

William Hurt's Thunderbolt Ross was a key character through the spine of the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe - from 2008's The Incredible Hulk through to 2021's Black Widow. Part of his charm (besides the amazing acting, of course) was his brush-like moustache he had just like his character in comics. So when Harrison Ford stepped up to take over the role following Hurt's tragic death, one thing people were hoping for was Ford to have a mustache.

But as we saw in the first Captain America: Brave New World, he didn't - not a real one, nor a prosthetic one.

And as fans, we were bummed.

But as it turns out, Ford says he was never asked to do it. During Marvel Studios' Hall H panel here at San Diego Comic-Con, it was brought up.

"I would've grown a mustache if I was asked," says Ford.

While it might be too late for Captain America: Brave New World, perhaps we can ask for it as fans for his next appearance. Or even a Moustche Cut.
