Harrison Ford just became President in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. How does this compare to his term in Air Force One?

Hail to the chief.
Harrison Ford has been an archaeologist, a starship captain, and a fugitive. Now he’s becoming President of the United States…and a Red Hulk.
Harrison Ford will portray President Thaddeus Ross in the upcoming Marvel Studios film Captain America: Brave New World. Ford will be taking over the role of Ross, which was previously played by the late actor William Hurt. However, the Oval Office isn’t unfamiliar territory for Harrison Ford. The actor previously portrayed President James Marshall in the 1997 film Air Force One.
During Marvel Studios’ Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con 2024, Ford reflected on what it was like to play the President again. "This is a character who is based on a lot of history developed with Bill [Hurt] who played the character previously. But now I am Thaddeus, and I am delighted, and I am proud to become a member of the Marvel Universe.”
In other words, like Grover Cleveland, Harrison Ford is serving two non-consecutive terms as President of the United States. They just happen to be 28 years apart.
Captain America: Brave New World will be in theaters on February 14, 2025.
