People who grew up in the 80s have become used to seeing their childhoods thrust upon the nearest screen, both big and small. While Amazon and Mattel are keeping the plot details for their upcoming live-action Masters of the Universe movie under wraps, they’ve just announced two new actors joining the He-Man cast as The Sorceress and Fisto.

Morena Baccarin, who recently reprised her role as Wade Wilson’s long-term love interest in Deadpool & Wolverine, has been cast as the mysterious and powerful Sorceress of Castle Greyskull in the latest reboot of the He-Man franchise. Joining her as the unfortunately named Fisto is Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson. Jóhannesson will be playing Copperhead in Captain America: Brave New World, though he is probably best known for playing Olaf Haraldsson in Vikings: Valhalla and Crach an Craite in Netflix’s The Witcher series.

There is something endearing about the fact that Amazon isn’t shying away from the corny origins of the He-Man and Masters of the Universe franchise. We’re sure that at least one joke at the expense of Fisto will pop up during the movie, but kids have been playing with Fisto toys for generations now so it is right to include him.

Baccarin and Jóhannesson join Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Jared Leto as Skeletor, and Idris Elba as Man-at-Arms in the upcoming Masters of the Universe live-action movie. No release date for the film has been announced, which has been in various stages of development for years now. When we’ll eventually get to see it remains an even bigger mystery than why Prince Adam and He-Man have never been seen in the same place before.
