MCU: Galactus appears in Fantastic Four footage shown at San Diego Comic Con's Hall H

It's the Devourer of Worlds!

It's been a busy day at Hall H, and Popverse's Graeme McMillan brought a very comprehensive liveblog of all of the happenings at the big Marvel Studio panel. One bit that we were most excited about was some pre-viz footage shown to the audience.

According to Graeme, "It's a film from The Future Foundation! Retro logo (and lovely.) It's Fantastic Science with Dr. Richards -- with Pedro Pascal as Reed! Reed and Ben are on screen. And there's Sue. It's very very retro and lovely looking." The footage also showed a bit of a matchmaking show, "'Let's Make A Love Match' fake Match Game game show, and it's silhouettes of al the male members of the team -- including the Thing!"

There was also a bit of a retro rocket launch, and the first mention of the brand-new title for the film - Fantastic Four: First Steps

But, perhaps most excitingly for Fantastic Four fans is that at the end of the clip we see Galactus looking into the Baxter Building. According to Graeme (not on the liveblog, but just now in person), Galactus looks very much like Galactus (purple, not pink), though we only see a bit of his face (he is very very large, after all!)

Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters next summer. More to come.
