Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse’s release date has been confirmed by Sony Pictures

The third movie in the animated Spider-Verse saga will swing into theaters June 4, 2027, Sony announced at CinemaCon 2025

It’s official: Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is coming to theaters June 4, 2027. The news comes out of Cinemacon in Las Vegas, NV, where studio Sony Pictures was kicking off the festivities. Announced in front of a packed room at the Caesar’s Palace Casino, this revelation is not just an answer to fans’ prayers, but an enticing portent for what’s to come out of the rest of the convention.

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse's release date

It's been a bit of a tumultuous time for the animated Spider-Verse films in terms of scheduling. Originally, the film was said to be slated for March 29, 2024 (almost a year ago as of this writing), but then was taken off that schedule. A release window for the third Miles Morales-starring animated Spider-Verse film has eluded fans ever since…

Until now, that is. Of course, we still don’t know how that cliff-hanger ending from Across the Spider-Verse will wrap up, but at least now we know when we’ll know.

You know?

As you know if you've been following Cinemacon coverage, this announcement shortly proceeded the reveal of the fourth MCU Spider-Man movie title. But for all that these announcements gave us to chew on, there are still plenty of uncertainties in terms of Spider-Man’s future. For example, why didn’t Tom Holland’s name appear on that Avengers: Doomsday cast list

Whatever the case may be, you know we'll report it to you as soon as we find out. "Wherever there's a hang-up," as the song goes.

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse comes out June 4, 2027. More on this release date as it develops.
